Finnish Sauna

AN IMMEDIATE BLAST OF HIGH HEAT
Our Finnish traditional sauna harnesses the power of dry heat produced by an electric, lava rock heater. The heated air creates an atmosphere that will raise your core body temperature, causing you to sweat and your heart rate will increase to pump more blood to your skin. Sweat is your body's way of cooling you down. The idea is that this process mimics the effects of exercise and provides similar health benefits. Finnish sauna humidity is typically kept around 5–20% and the temperature is set between 170–180ºF. Guests may use the ladle from the water bucket provided to pour a small amount of water onto the lava rocks to create steam to slightly increase humidity. Water bucket will be provided by request only. Add a few drops of Birch or Eucalyptus essential oil to the water to enjoy a woodsy-scented waft of steam. Avoid dehydration by following the general rule to cap your time inside the Finnish sauna at 10-15 minutes. After cooling-down, Guests may re-enter and repeat as many times as they like over their session session. Leave the sauna immediately, if you feel dizzy or over-heated. Our Finnish sauna has capacity for approximately 4-8 persons, depending on whether Guest are lying or sitting on upper and lower benches.

Infrared Sauna

A GRADUAL ABSORPTION OF RADIANT HEAT
Our Infrared Sauna uses full spectrum infrared light to heat your body while the air temperature remains at much lower levels between 120–130ºF, as compared to the traditional sauna where the air temperature is close to 200ºF. For this reason, some people find the Infrared sauna more comfortable than traditional saunas. You will still sweat, but at a slower and more measured pace. This process also mimics the effects of exercise and provides similar health benefits. Avoid dehydration by following the general rule to cap your time inside the Infrared sauna at 30 minutes. Leave the sauna immediately, if you feel dizzy or over-heated. Since this sauna only has capacity for 1-3 persons, please only visit once during the session. A light panel on the ceiling provides color light therapy, when sitting on the cedar bench by gently touching the right side of the panel, cycling through your preference of the light spectrum. Light is readily absorbed by surface tissues and cells, leading to enhanced skin health and healing.

How to Choose Your Sauna Session

New to sauna sessions? Start with a 30-minute visit to ease into the heat and experience the benefits without overdoing it. Looking for a deeper detox or full-body recharge? Book a 60 or 90-minute session, built in back-to-back 30-minute increments to match your rhythm.

We offer two sauna types:

  • Traditional Finnish Sauna (~180°F): A higher heat experience. Most guests stay inside for 10–15 minutes at a time, then take a cool-down break—either in the shower or one of our seating areas—before heading back in.

  • Infrared Sauna (~120–130°F): A more gentle, radiant heat. Many people stay in for up to 45 minutes straight, making it a great option for longer, more meditative sessions.

What to Expect & How to Prepare

We want every guest to feel comfortable and confident during their time in the sauna house. A knowledgeable staff member will greet you and walk you through the process before you begin your session, ensuring you know exactly what to expect and how to get the most from your experience.

Here are a few things to keep in mind:

  • Bring your own towel. Everyone must sit or lie on a towel in either sauna to keep the space clean and comfortable for all.

  • No nudity, please. Proper swimwear or breathable clothing is required.

  • Stay hydrated. We provide water and a variety of non-alcoholic sparkling beverages to keep you refreshed.

  • Take breaks as needed. Especially if you're new, listen to your body—step out, cool down, and return when you're ready.

Our sauna house is a place for calm, restoration, and mindful care. Whether it’s your first time or part of your regular wellness practice, we’re here to help you feel right at home.
